About Us

Margie Peskin, founder of Search Forward, has more than ten years of career advising, recruiting, and placement experience. She specializes in job search strategies, resume writing, interview preparation and negotiation advising and is a frequent workshop presenter on a variety of career related topics. Her previous employment includes five years with the University of Iowa MBA program, and an additional five years in recruiting with Robert Half International and Plante & Moran LLP. She is also an adjunct faculty member of the University of Iowa College of Business. Margie has a master’s degree in counseling from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC and a bachelor’s degree in American Studies from Trinity College in Hartford, CT. She currently lives in Iowa City, IA with her family.
